INDICATIONS
It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia, nutritional anemias, and parasitic anemias. It is a stimulant and fortifier for horses exposed to intense and prolonged exertion. Vitamin B12 contributes to red blood cell production.
DOSAGE
- Cattle (beef and dairy) and Horses: 10-15 mL, single dose.
- Calves: 3-5 mL at 3 months of age, repeat the dose one month later.
- Adult Sheep and Goats: 5 mL, single dose. Lambs and Kids: 3 mL, single dose.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Deep intramuscular injection.
WARNINGS
- Do not administer subcutaneously, as it causes pain and skin discoloration, and may lead to infection.
- Do not administer more than 10 mL at the injection site.
- Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to iron dextran, infectious anemias, or vitamin E and selenium deficiencies.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Protect from direct sunlight.
- Dispose of by incineration.
