INDICATIONS

It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia, nutritional anemias, and parasitic anemias. It is a stimulant and fortifier for horses exposed to intense and prolonged exertion. Vitamin B12 contributes to red blood cell production.

DOSAGE

  • Cattle (beef and dairy) and Horses: 10-15 mL, single dose.
  • Calves: 3-5 mL at 3 months of age, repeat the dose one month later.
  • Adult Sheep and Goats: 5 mL, single dose. Lambs and Kids: 3 mL, single dose.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Deep intramuscular injection.

WARNINGS

  • Do not administer subcutaneously, as it causes pain and skin discoloration, and may lead to infection.
  • Do not administer more than 10 mL at the injection site.
  • Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to iron dextran, infectious anemias, or vitamin E and selenium deficiencies.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.
  • Dispose of by incineration.
